These very common states of mind rob us of our ability to enjoy life and experience peace and happiness.  Buddha’s timeless teachings offer a simple yet profound alternative.  If we train in meditation and mindfulness, we can develop the ability to respond to challenges with a peaceful and positive attitude and thus enjoy life

This mini meditation retreat is led by Buddhist nun Gen Kelsang Lhadron, Resident Teacher at KMC SD. Suitable for all levels of experience.  Everyone is welcome!

***Retreat begins promptly at 10am. Please arrive early to settle in.*** 
Mini retreats are broken into sessions with several breaks. A session typically consist of prayers in English to prepare our minds for meditation, a guided breathing meditation, a teaching on the retreat topic, and a meditation period to gain personal experience of the topic.
