Living Lightly

How wonderful it would be to have a lightness about our life—to experience more joy and a positive outlook. The methods for achieving this are exactly what meditation and Buddhism offer. Let go of stress, depression, and frustration by learning simple techniques to make your mind more flexible.
 
In this series we will explore Buddha’s most profound teaching, emptiness, the dream-like, true nature of all things. Through gaining experience on emptiness, we can eliminate negativity in our mind and have the flexibility to respond to every situation in a positive way. What could be more beneficial than this?

What to Expect at a Class

We provide cushions and chairs. No special clothing required. Class consists of guided meditations, a teaching on the topic below and a beautiful Buddhist prayer. Following are refreshments and time to chat with the teacher and other students. You do not need to be Buddhist to attend. Everyone welcome! No previous experience necessary.
